   The City of Brea Building and Safety Department is responsible for investigating code violations on existing single family residential, commercial, industrial, and vacant building inside the city.

   The following is required when submitting a service request:

   Anonymous complaints are not accepted online. Your complaint will not be investigated if you provide an invalid name or phone number. Complainant's name and phone number information is kept confidential. If you would like to file an anonymous complaint please contact us by phone.
