Join the City of Brea in honoring veterans at our annual Veterans Day Ceremony on Monday, November 11 from 10-10:45 a.m. at the Brea War Memorial in front of the Brea Civic & Cultural Center (1 Civic Center Cir, Brea). 


Call for WWII Veterans


This year, World War II veterans will receive special recognition at our Veterans Day Ceremony for their service to our country. Mayor Christine Marick and the Brea City Council would like to invite any Brea resident who served in WWII to be honored on November 11. Do you know a WWII Veteran? Please contact Kristin Steyerman by October 28 at 714-990-7771 or email kristins@cityofbrea.net if you know of a WWII veteran who lives, works or who has raised their family in Brea to have them honored.

Draft Plan Open House, October 9 


Earlier this spring, the City began a series of outreach events for its Connecting the Core: Active Transportation Plan (ATP) Program. Please join us on Wednesday, October 9 from 6-8 p.m. in Community Room B of the Brea Civic & Cultural Center for a Draft Plan Open House to preview the ATP draft plan and participate in the final design options for biking, walking and other active experiences in Brea. National Drug Take Back Day


The Brea Police Department is hosting National Drug Take-Back Day on Saturday, October 26 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the circle driveway in front of the Brea Civic & Cultural Center (1 Civic Center Circle, off of Birch St). 


Please join the Brea Police Department in working to keep Brea safe. National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient and responsible means of disposal for prescription drugs. Take your unused prescription or OTC drugs to the Brea drop-off location on October 26. To participate, please remove your personal identifying information from containers and place medicine in a sealed bag. Simply drive your car into the circle driveway and a police department employee will assist you. It's that easy!
