Love Brea Returns
Join the community on Saturday, April 23 for Love Brea! Returning to its traditional format, this city-wide day of service is a great opportunity to serve the City of Brea and join a movement that is spreading across California. Over the past few years, a combined total of more than a thousand volunteers have completed dozens of city-wide service projects. A variety of project opportunities suited for group working styles, as well as individual-based activities, are available. The day begins with an 8:00 a.m. Kick-Off Rally, followed by Service Projects at 9:00 a.m., and the day concludes with a Thank You Lunch at 12:30 p.m. Be a part of the day and register for a service project by visiting LoveBrea.org. There is even time to submit a project idea for consideration. Visit LoveBrea.org!

Help Us Improve The Tracks
The City wants your feedback to learn how The Tracks at Brea Trail could be improved. Open for several years, The Tracks is a popular city amenity widely used by the community. What was once a railroad and train depot was transformed into a 50-acre linear park that traverses the City across four miles. The Tracks was constructed over several years to have essential features such as, a bike trail, pedestrian path, fitness stations, bike repair stations, seating areas, drinking fountains, and restrooms. Now, the City is evaluating what features and amenities could be added to improve this wonderful City asset. Please share your thoughts by taking a brief online survey.

File a Police Report Online
The Brea Police Department is excited to announce the release of its new Citizens Online Police Reporting System. Online reporting systems are a best practice and are now common amongst police departments. The implementation of this type of system in Brea supports the Police Department’s mission and core values. The online system allows for improved efficiency and reduced workloads on officers, front counter staff, and records personnel. Most importantly, the new system provides enhanced service to our community by making online reporting, of common crimes and issues, possible through a convenient and continuously accessible platform. Many non-emergency incidents can be reported, including lost property, theft, traffic collisions, vehicle tampering, and more. Users can print their filed reports immediately, at no cost.
