The State of California has modified water cutbacks it imposed last year. Brea, in a tradition of responsible and honest environmental stewardship, submitted a 15% conservation goal, which has been approved by the State Water Resources Control Board for implementation. Phase 2 regulations will remain in place in order to meet this modified goal. By acting to help preserve local water supplies, Brea hopes to have more ability to adjust for future emergencies and allow for healthy growth.
