Into the Light: Plein Air Invitational Exhibition

This exhibition celebrates California's fascination with the impressionistic approach to landscape and seascape painting and its role in the state's transformation as an art hub. This study of light is a compilation of local plein air artists featuring a selection of works ranging from oils to watercolors to pastels. Works in the show depict recognizable local scenes including Huntington Beach, Brea Canyon, and many more familiar sights. The exhibit will also include a behind-the-scenes look into the life of a plein air artist through videos, pictures, and stories shared by the participating artists.
