[ARCHIVED] Saturday 4:15 PM Earthquake Update - Carbon Canyon Remains Closed

There is no public access to Carbon Canyon through the early part of the week. Residents only, with identification, may access their homes through checkpoints. Olinda Ranch and Brea Hills residents may enter through the Brea side. Olinda Village and Hollydale residents may enter through the Chino Hills side. Please call the hotline at 714 990-7732 for updates.

City offices at the Brea Civic & Cultural Center will open to the public at 1:00 p.m. on Monday to allow employees time for clean-up and organization. Phone calls will be accepted earlier. All other civic facilities will be operating as usual.

Staff continues to respond to Friday's 5.1 earthquake, and investigate any significant aftershocks as they may occur. There has been no significant damage or injuries reported in the city.
