After an extensive recruitment process, the City of Brea is proud to announce the appointment of Michael Ho as the City’s new Deputy Director of Public Works/City Engineer. His first day in Brea is on Monday, October 15, 2019.
Prior to accepting the Deputy Director of Public Works/City Engineer position in Brea, Michael worked for the City of Seal Beach as their Deputy Director of Public Works/City Engineer. Prior to his employment in Seal Beach, Michael served the Cities of Montebello and Monterey Park. With over 17 years of Public Works experience, Michael has completed over $50 million in Capital Improvement Projects ranging from street, utility, building facility and beach improvements. Aside from his outstanding qualifications, Michael understands the value of exceptional customer service and embraces Brea’s collaborative work culture. Michael holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from California Polytechnic Pomona and is a Registered Civil Engineer.
