The Brea Police Department will be hosting National Drug Take-Back Day on Saturday, October 27 from 10 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the circle driveway in front of the Brea Civic & Cultural Center (1 Civic Center Circle, off of Birch St.).
More young people die in Orange County from abusing medication than from cocaine, meth, and ecstasy combined. It is imperative that we keep unused and excess prescription drugs out of our homes and off the streets.
Please join the Brea Police Department in working to keep Brea safe. National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient and responsible means of disposal for prescription drugs. Take your unused prescription or OTC drugs to the Brea drop-off location on October 27. To participate, please remove your personal identifying information from containers and place medicine in a sealed bag. Simply drive your car into the circle driveway and a police department employee will assist you. It's that easy!
