Come to RagFest 2018 on September 29 at the Curtis and you'll be transported to the era when the soundtrack of life was ragtime - that lively thumping, sometimes joyous, sometimes haunting, syncopated music that captured the public's imagination and became America's first popular musical craze and the basis for most future pop music.
Get ready for an entire afternoon of great ragtime through half-hour and 45-minute sets – then, after the dinner break, a formal ragtime revue show on the Curtis stage. Throughout the festival, you’ll be able to meet and talk with the performers and purchase their recordings and other ragtime merchandise.
