Register today to volunteer, donate or submit a project for Love Brea, the city-wide serve day Saturday, April 28. Last year some 500 volunteers completed 24 projects across the city. The annual serve day starts with a rally at 8:00 a.m. at the Civic & Cultural Center and ends with a thank you luncheon at the Village at La Floresta.
Brea is part of the larger "Love our Cities" effort that also involves our neighboring communities. Service clubs, city staff, sports groups, schools and the faith community come together and serve worth projects.
Activity begins at 8:00 a.m. with a rally at the Civic & Cultural Center. This is where you get your t-shirt, snacks, lunch bracelet and meet other volunteers. This is a fun, high-energy way to stat the day. From there you will disperse to your assigned project through Noon. The day ends with a complementary lunch at the Village at La Floresta from 12:20-2:00 p.m.
Love Brea has quickly become another Brea tradition that you won't want to miss. (Remember to pre-register. You can choose a specific project if you'd like.)
