[ARCHIVED] Full Blackstone Parking Development Enforcement Begins February 5

The Blackstone neighborhood was  transferred from the County of Orange to the City of Brea in December.  Residents in the neighborhood were notified by mail in December that full enforcement of City parking rules in will begin on February 5, 2018.   This allowed for a transition period for residents in the area. City rules are in effect for overnight parking, as well as for the weekly street sweeping operation. Parking on Brea streets is restricted to no longer than 30 minutes between the overnight hours of 2:00 and 6:00 a.m. Residents must purchase or renew an annual permit for any vehicle that cannot be accommodated at their residence for overnight parking.   Apply or renew your parking permit online and save a trip to City Hall.

Parking restrictions have been established over many years to enhance public safety and enable consistent sanitation service. Courteous neighborhood vehicle parking has proven to be a community benefit for these reasons.
