Brea’s Centennial Picnic at the Sports Park
The fun continues with the Centennial Picnic at the Brea Sports Park immediately following the parade (time TBD). The Brea Ministerial Association is coordinating food booths and live entertainment will be onstage. Fun for the whole family.
Brea is one of the oldest communities in Orange County having incorporated in 1917 as the city of "Oil, Oranges and Opportunity." The City's rich history began as an oil boom town near the turn of the twentieth century, as oil workers settled in search of their fortune and businesses opened to serve the oil companies.
