Repurpose, Reuse, Recycle Exhibit

When ordinary objects become art. Artists are adept at seeing not only beauty and meaning, but purpose beyond the surface of the every day. Common objects find a new purpose, discarded materials are recycled and reused, in other words up-cycling into art. This exhibit was at the Brea Art Gallery from June 5 to July 9, 2010.

Surf + Skate = Culture

This exhibit, on display August 7 to September 10, 2010, examined the impact of surfing and skateboarding on contemporary society through artifacts and art. The inspirations from surfing and skateboarding weave themselves through the intersections of fashion and art.

42nd Annual Watercolor West International Juried Exhibition

Watercolor West, the pinnacle of traditions in transparent watercolor, sets a high bar for watercolor excellence. Over 100 paintings were on display October 9 to December 19, 2010, selected from over 1,400 entries from around the world, and over $10,000 in prizes are awarded to this prestigious collection of artworks.
