Record Library
The City of Brea offers easy online access to public documents through its record library. The record library is an online repository of thousands of city records. Our goal is to work toward converting all public records for online accessibility, until then, please check back regularly to see what has been added. To request a document that is not currently available online, or for more information, please call the City Clerk’s Office at (714)990-7756.
Search & Browse Records Online
Browse “All Records” - Use this utilizing keywords with either the basic or advanced search methods
Search “All Records” - Use this if you know the record type and approximate year by selecting the appropriate folder then utilizing the keyword search
There are two search types available: basic and advanced. Use the basic search for very broad searches on specific words or phrases. The advanced search should be used for more detailed searching, which includes record type and date ranges. Results are displayed and ordered by search relevance. Once the desired record has been located it can be downloaded in Adobe PDF format.
Quick Tip: Agendas, Staff reports, Minutes, and any handouts presented at a Council Meeting have been linked together to make your searching easier. When you have a document open that is linked to another document, you can access the linked document by selecting it on the left side of the screen, from the metadata tab. Use your back key to get back to your original document.
