The Brea Downtown Parklets Project (“Project”) is located on the north side of Birch Street, between Madrona Avenue and Walnut Avenue. The project includes the installation of two Parklets (Parklet A and Parklet C as shown on Exhibit A - Site Plan). There will be construction activity during the daytime hours, which may impact pedestrian and vehicular traffic as well as parking along the north side of Birch Street.
The City has retained Three Peaks, Inc. as the Contractor to complete the Project. They will be providing additional notices and signage throughout the construction period. Construction will start on Monday, September 19, 2022, and will end around November 21, 2022, barring any weather or other delays. A contact list for the main personnel on the Project is here.
