Captain Rodriguez

Captain Philip “Phil” Rodriguez has been a member of the Brea Police Department for over 24 years. He is currently serving as the Support Services Division Commander, overseeing the Investigations Unit, Dispatch, and Records. Captain Rodriguez holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Vanguard University and a Master’s Degree in Performance Improvement from the University of Arkansas, at Grantham. 

He is an expert at Tactical Communications and spent an extensive amount of his career in the Detective Bureau working to solve a number of high-profile cases. In 2017 he received the Life Saving Award for reviving a female who had suffered a heart attack. 

In his free time, you can typically find Captain Rodriguez with his wife at a sports gym cheering on his daughters while they play volleyball and basketball.
