Captain Dickinson

Captain Dave Dickinson is a 30-year veteran of the Brea Police Department. He is currently the Operations Division Commander, overseeing Traffic, Patrol, and the Community Outreach Bureau. Captain Dickinson holds a Bachelor’s Degree from California State University Fullerton, a Master’s Degree in Management and Leadership from Webster University, and a Doctorate in Business Administration from California Southern University, Costa Mesa. In addition, Captain Dickinson is a graduate of the California POST Supervisory Leadership Institute, class #321. 

He has held numerous assignments and received numerous awards during his career, including a Life Saving Award, Distinguished Service Award, Investigator of the Year, and various commendations. In his free time, Captain Dickinson enjoys running and trying different restaurants with his wife.
