Brea Senior Center
All Senior Center classes and activities are suspended, until further notice.
The Brea Senior Center continues to provide take-home lunches for seniors.
- Daily pick-up available Monday - Friday, 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., on a donation basis.
- Meals are delivered daily to those without transportation to the Senior Center.
- Transportation for Brea seniors to be shuttled from their residence to the Center to pick up lunches was suspended on Friday, April 3 in order to keep senior safe in their homes.
Brea Senior Center Case Management services continues to provide home delivered meals, client wellness checks, and any needed resources to Brea seniors. Senior Center staff is also utilizing the After School Program vans and staff to deliver to meals to homebound senior clients on a daily basis.
Weekly wellness calls are being made to Senior Center participants living in Brea, who are not already clients on the Case Management program, to verify needs for resources, health status, and food supplies.

Grocery and retail stores in Brea are offering early shopping hours for seniors.
Albertson’s: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7 - 9 a.m.
Mother’s Market: Wednesdays, 6 - 7 a.m.
Ralph’s: Daily, 7:50 - 8 a.m.
Target: Wednesdays, 8 - 9 a.m.
Vons: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7 - 9 a.m.
Walmart: Tuesdays, 6 - 7 a.m.
Whole Foods: Daily, 7 - 8 a.m.
While social distancing, it is still important to reach out to older neighbors and loved ones to see if they need help. Practicing social distancing does not mean being socially isolated. Stay in touch with friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers by texting, sending emails, talking on the phone, and video chatting. Let people know how much you care.
