Brea's Economic Development Department is actively involved in many projects and programs to enhance the quality of life for the citizens and businesses of the City of Brea. The department aggressively pursues excellence for the City in the following areas - business retention and attraction programs, housing programs for low to moderate-income families, and property redevelopment and revitalization programs.

The complete revitalization of Brea's Downtown is one of the highlights of the department's recent activities. The once-blighted area is now completely rebuilt and features a retail, entertainment, and dining district as well as new housing.

The Economic Development Department worked with the Brea Historical Society on the establishment of the Brea Museum and Heritage Center.  If you have any Brea memorabilia you would like to donate, please call (714) 256-2283.  Donations of time and/or money would also be much appreciated!  Contributions are tax-deductible.  Visit the Museum's website at  www.breamuseum.org.
