Counseling & Support Groups

Counseling
Families and individuals often struggle with stress from work, from parenting, from culture changes, relationships, and finance. The Brea Family Resource Center offers affordable counseling for Brea residents of all ages, as well as for family groups.

Professional counselors deal with a wide range of issues including depression, bereavement, anxiety, and couples communication. They can help families cope with divorce, anger issues, discipline and other interpersonal dynamics. Counseling can ease crisis situations and feelings of isolation. Counseling is conducted in a quiet, private setting within offices at the Brea Community Center. A personalized, sliding scale fee structure is offered based on ability to pay.

Counseling hours are by appointment only and are limited to Brea residents. Counseling fees are based on a sliding scale and affordability. For additional information about counseling services, or to request an appointment be scheduled please contact us at FRC@cityofbrea.net or call 714-990-7150.
