Parks and Recreation Facilities
Brea maintains 15 parks and recreation facilities within its boundaries providing varied leisure needs to the community. The Brea Community Services Department coordinates Park activities. For complete information on recreation programs and activities, see listings under "Brea Community Center," "Senior Center" and "Recreational Programs."  All park facilities are on a first come, first served basis.

Arovista Park (14.84 acres; lighted). Imperial Highway at Berry Street
Features: Play areas, barbecues, picnic tables, restrooms, ball diamond, soccer fields, volleyball court, amphitheater, concession stand, football field and basketball courts.

Brea Creek Municipal Golf Course (25.82 acres). 501 West Fir St., 529-3003.
Features: A popular nine-hole community golf course, complete with driving range. Rental electric and hand carts and clubs are available. Reservations for the course can be made up to one week in advance. Course hours are daily, from 6 a.m. to sunset.

Brea Junior High School Park (13.06 acres; lighted). 400 N. Brea Blvd.
Features: Play areas, ball diamonds, soccer fields, tennis courts, volleyball, concession stand, football field and basketball courts.

Brea Sports Park 3333 E. Birch Street, 714 854-0766. Located at the northwest corner of Birch and Valencia with 26 acres of ball fields plus walking trail, children's play area and picnic area. Field use is prioritized for Brea-based organizations through arrangements with the Community Services Department.

Carbon Canyon Regional Park (131 acres) Carbon Canyon Road (Lambert) at Valencia, 973-3160 or visit the County of Orange website at www.oc.ca.gov. (This is a County-maintained facility.)

City Hall Park (4.47 acres). 401 S. Brea Blvd.
Features: Olympic-size swimming pool (Brea Plunge), restrooms, barbecues, play areas, basketball courts and gazebo.

Country Hills Park (6.21 acres; lighted). 180 N. Associated
Features: Restrooms, barbecues, play areas, picnic tables, ball diamonds, soccer fields, lighted tennis courts, concession stand and football field.

Founder's Park,  (4.1 acres). 777 Skyler Way
Features:  Tot lot, climbing rock wall basketball court, 2 lighted tennis courts, picnic area and restrooms.

Greenbriar Park (3.5 acres). Greenbriar & Associated Road
Features: Barbecues, play areas, picnic tables and restrooms.

Lagos De Moreno Park (1.5 acres). 200 S. Flower
Features: Barbecues, play area and picnic tables.

Olinda Oil Museum and Trail (1.9 miles) 4025 Santa Fe Rd.
Carbon Canyon Road and Santa Fe  
Features:  Historic museum and Olinda hiking trail, working oil well drilled in 1898, outdoor displays, restrooms, parking lot and picnic area.

Olinda Ranch Park (approx 10 acres). 4055 Carbon Canyon Road 
Features:  Children's playground, basketball courts, day-use sports fields, picnic area and restrooms.

Tamarack Park (5.6 acres; lighted). 520 N. Tamarack
Features: Restrooms, barbecues, play areas, ball diamond, soccer fields, concession stand, football field and basketball courts.

Ted Craig Regional Park (129 acres). 3300 State College, Fullerton 973-3180 or visit the County of Orange website at www.oc.ca.gov  (This is a County-maintained facility.)
Features: Restrooms, barbecues, play areas, picnic tables, ball diamonds, soccer fields, volleyball, racquetball courts, amphitheater, concession stand, bicycle trails, football field, basketball courts and fishing.

Tri-City Park (40 acres). Kraemer at Golden, 993-8232.
Maintained by the cities of Brea, Fullerton and Placentia.
Features: Restrooms, barbecues, play areas, picnic tables, bicycle trails, lake and fishing.

Woodcrest Park (.5 acres). Woodcrest Avenue east of Puente
Features: Barbecues play areas and picnic tables
