The Purchasing Division’s goal is to ensure the acquisition of quality goods and services at the lowest total cost to the City. Purchasing oversees the competitive bidding process and supplier selection for all City departments. The Purchasing Division is dedicated to the promotion of fairness and open competition with the procurement process. The Central Services division is an integral part of Purchasing as it provides copy services, mail service and warehouse operations for the City in accordance with legal requirements.
